看到今昔对比这四个字，大家是不是觉得在托福写作中很常见，但托福口语也是有过这类型话题的，虽然频率不是很高，但15s准备时间对考试要求还是较高的，所以我们今天来看一下今昔对比的话题该怎么说。
第一步识别话题，关键词：比较级&今昔（过去和现在）

上面是2018年的一道口语题
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Nowadays, saving money is more difficult than in the past.
这是2021年3月的一道口语题，可以看到有重复出现以前的老题。
第二步，提取关键词，提取着力点，进行逻辑展开。
其实这种题目和我们平时遇到的含有比较级的题目是类似的，比如很常见的一道题:
Do you agree or disagree with the statement that children who join in group sport activities tend to be more sociable than those who only do exercise by themselves?
很多同学看到不知道从哪里下手，这类题目的共同点都是more.....，所以大家的着力点肯定是要放在这个more...上面，而且今昔对比还多了一个条件就是时间，时间发展，development这种限制，所以我们需要考虑一些随着时间发展带来的变化，以及为什么会发生这些变化，否则就没有这个过程的体现。
比如现在比以前更难存钱，首先save money对应的是spend money，那么钱是怎么花掉的，大家是不是有很多思路？最简单的就是吃穿住行，这是不是已经有四个方面了，然后再具体一点，物价，吃的物价，穿的物价，是不是感觉现在一件T-shirt都要二三百了。再往大了说，房价。然后别忘了说以前是怎么花钱的，首先物价没有这么高，也没有那么多方面去花钱。
现在物质生活精神生活都很丰富，随便一个gym membership一年都要上万了吧。随便一个手游充钱都要648。所以根本存不到钱。
但这时候有的学生会问了，我可以不去办卡，也不去充钱啊，我可以自己在公园锻炼。所以可以转到第二个理由：
我们实质性的evidence已经说完了，也就是客观事实导致我们存不到钱，或很难存钱。然后就是主观方面了，精神生活很丰富，或者是我们的意识发生了改变，我们更愿意去花钱享受，不愿意存钱，不想像老一辈那样节省一辈子。
所以这道题45s肯定够了，也不会有很多重复的点，或者说不了两个理由。
最后一步，就是组织语言了，我们来看一下范文吧：
I totally agree with the statement not only because of my personal experience but also the actual situation.First for me,I don’t want to be like, saving money all my life or don't know how to enjoy life like my grandparents.And I don't want to lower my life quality either.So I will go traveling,go to the gym to exercise or enjoy the concert with my friends when I have extra money instead of just putting it in a bank account.Even sometimes I bought many stuffs but not so practical.
What’s more,I think nowadays the young people have been forced to spend money or repay the loan by rising living cost ,especially the sky-high housing price.It’s really hard for them to save money just as their grandparents did in the past.
