很多同学对于新生申请的文书写作思路已经非常熟悉。但是，大家可能不太熟悉的是美国大学转学的文书。
美国大学转学的文书跟新生申请的题目一样吗?别担心!今天小编就为大家揭晓美国大学转学申请文书的模样，希望对大家的申请有所帮助。
一．转学Common主文书
跟美国新生申请类似，美国大学转学申请大多也要求提交一篇Common主文书(跟新生申请题目不同)。在网申系统更新以前学校要求的文书字数一致。
但在common系统更新以后，每个学校的文书字数要求会有些不同。比如纽约大学要求的就是最多3000个字符(近500个单词), 而安娜堡要求最多1500个字符(近250个单词)。
二.转学补充文书
相对新生而言，转学的文书显得更加常规化，不会出现太多特别新奇的文书题目。一般包括Why school或者Why major或者两者结合的补充文书。
但是少数学校也会有其它的文书题目，比如安娜堡转学也要求学生写diversity的文书。
(注意：今年安娜堡转学和北卡罗来纳大学教堂山分校还要求学生写一篇跟新生Common主文书一样的文书，字数要求跟新生申请一样250字到650字。所以申请安娜堡转学和北卡罗来纳大学教堂山分校的小伙伴们要提早做准备哦!)
纽约大学补充文书题目（Why major+Why School）：
We would like to know more about your interest in NYU. We are particularly interested in knowing what motivated you to apply to NYU and more specifically, why you have applied or expressed interest in a particular campus, school, college, program, and/or area of study? You may be focused or undecided, or simply open to the options within NYU's global network; regardless, we want to understand - Why NYU? (2500 character maximum)
密歇根大学安娜堡分校补充文书题目：
Essay #1 (Required for all applicants.)
Everyone belongs to many different communities and/or groups defined by (among other things) shared geography, religion, ethnicity, income, cuisine, interest, race, ideology, or intellectual heritage. Choose one of the communities to which you belong, and describe that community and your place within it.(1500字符以内)
Essay #2 (Required for all applicants.)
Describe the unique qualities that attract you to the specific undergraduate College or School to which you are applying at the University of Michigan. How would that curriculum support your interests?(2750字符以内)
Essay #3The personal statement helps you distinguish yourself in your own voice. What do you want admissions readers to know about you that is not reflected elsewhere in your application? Choose the option that best helps you answer that question and write an essay using the prompt to inspire and structure your response (1.250 - 3.250 characters, approx. 250 - 650 words).
波士顿大学转学文书题目：
Boston University welcomes hundreds of transfer students to campus each year. We want to learn more about you and your reasons for transferring, in particular what you hope to accomplish at Boston University. (600 word maximum)
三.加州大学转学
加州大学转学和新生申请共同使用加州申请系统，也是四个文书题目。但是文书题目跟新生申请有些不同，构成为1+3(1个必写题目+7个题目中选择三个题目)

Please describe how you have prepared for your intended major, including your readiness to succeed in your upper-division courses once you enroll at the university.
Choose to answer any three of the following seven questions: （7选3题目）
1. Describe an example of your leadership experience in which you have positively influenced others, helped resolve disputes, or contributed to group efforts over time.
2. Every person has a creative side, and it can be expressed in many ways: problem solving, original and innovative thinking, and artistically, to name a few. Describe how you express your creative side.
3. What would you say is your greatest talent or skill? How have you developed and demonstrated that talent over time?
4. Describe how you have taken advantage of a significant educational opportunity or worked to overcome an educational barrier you have faced.
5. Describe the most significant challenge you have faced and the steps you have taken to overcome this challenge. How has this challenge affected your academic achievement?
6. What have you done to make your school or your community a better place?
