里海大学是位于美国宾夕法尼亚州费城以北70英里的伯利恒市的一所私立研究型大学，由实业家艾萨·帕克建于1865年，后来发展成一个以工程科学闻名的综合性大学。

里海大学早期只招收男生，不过目前已经成为一所男女均收的大学，且女生人数约占四成多；现有的里海大学有4,600多名本科生，2000多名硕士以上学生，其中国际学生约500人。

学校不但硬件设备相当先进，而且汇聚了一大批知名学者，同时每年还有慕名而来的访问学者，极大地增强了这里的科研实力。

里海大学的口号是"努力学习，尽情嬉戏"，在跨进大学的门槛之后，学习压力较为沉重，当然这也是几乎所有以工科为主的大学共同的特色。
